Montrose Modern is the most popular tartan used by CGS members and widely available commercially. It is also the official tartan for Clan Graham Society displays and decor.
Montrose Ancient is essentially
the same sett (pattern) as Montrose Modern, but simulates what the tartan would have looked like with vegetable dyes in use centuries ago.
Montrose Weathered is also basically
the same sett (pattern) as Montrose Modern, but simulates what the ancient tartan would have looked like after heavy use.
